Default Chained fields for property locations

I think one of OR's biggest shortfalls is the lack of chained fields to define locations when listing and searching for a property.

What I'm talking about is having the property location fields (Country, State, Region, Town) as chained drop downs so when a specific country is selected from a drop down then only those states applicable to the country are listed in the state drop down, and when a specific state is selected then only the particular region is listed in the region drop down, and so on.

Using drop downs as opposed to a free text boxes to define location searches and property listing will prevent spelling mistakes of locations and multiple duplicate entries being added.

This is something that has prevented me from even considering OR before as IMHO it's just not suitable for an international real estate site.

Below I've cut and pasted a similar request by Clydd on the general forum.
This should apply to the property listing page and also the property searches.

One of the main reasons why I have stalled implementing OR is because of its lack of support for Chaining of Fields, when listing a property.

This makes OR , in my opinion a solution fit only for single agent websites (where the listing agent is the sole owner of the site) and is not a solution for multiple agents or listings that may be open to the public.

What do I mean? - Well, in OR there is absolutely no way to for example supply a drop down list of "localities" or "Cities" that will dynamically change to the context of the "State" field selected.

So for instance if when listing a property, after you select a state in a country, you have to choose the city from ALL the cites of a Country! (the cities do not auto update to show only those cities belonging to a State that has been selected)

This is also true when performing a search.
So it is left to the person posting a listing to spell a City correctly, thereby resulting in major chaos as listings will show different spellings of the city or locality etc.
This is such a major shortcoming, I do not see how it has not been addressed before.

As we wait for the first Core release of EzProRealty, I hope this issue will be addressed.
